It's a good idea to start training your children at a young age to do the household chores. We started Ellie this morning with laundry training. While she had some trouble reaching the stuff on top of the dryer, I'm really impressed with her initiative. She really got into trying to figure out how everything worked, and even kept an eye on those clothes as they swirled around.
We had surprise snow today. I really wasn't expecting Ellie to see her first snow quite so early! We bundled her up and took her out in it. You can clearly see she didn't seem to think it was all that special - not a single smile. Maybe it was the six layers of clothing she had on?
I'm sorry that there are no pictures with this post. I went to take some pictures several days ago and found that the camera has finally died. The good news is that our video camera can take great photos - so I guess it's time to finally break down and buy the SD card for it so I can actually use it. Hopefully I'll have the card and some new pictures to share for tomorrow.
